Position Description
The Manager, Global Corporate Communications will provide project management and support across various business-driving corporate communications, with a specific focus on the company's Transformation initiatives, Corporate Strategy, 10-Year Compass and GCGPA function strategy development and rollout, and enterprise-wide organizational alignment and senior leadership announcements. The Manager will play a key role in overseeing and supporting select Transformation Communications activities and narratives, both for the Global Transformation Team and for certain Pillar initiatives, including project management, material and content creation, management of digital hubs, and creative asset development. They will partner closely both within GCGPA as well as across the enterprise to drive and support the development and rollout of Corporate Strategy and 10-Year Compass narratives, as well as to oversee the GCGPA function strategy process and execution. Finally, together with the ED, Global Corporate Communications, the VP, Global Corporate Communications, as well as members of the larger Integrated Communications team, the Manager will oversee and execute senior leadership announcements across the enterprise helping to advance and reinforce the company's strong leadership narratives, corporate positioning and business priorities.
Please note, this role is temporary starting ASAP lasting for approximately 6 months in duration. The role will be operating off a hybrid schedule on-site 3x per week in the team's corporate office located in New York, NY- only local candidates will be considered. The hours for this position are part time.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with ED, Global Corporate Communications to drive Transformation business narrative and stakeholder-driven, programmatic communications strategy for the company (40%)
- Project management oversight of core Transformation messaging platforms and creative
- Creative asset development and management for function-to-enterprise Transformation communications, including key Pillar-specific initiatives and projects
- Oversight of Transformation digital hubs
- Together with ED, Global Corporate Communications, provide strategic communications advice and support to Transformation leadership
- Project management and oversight of critical strategic communications across the function and the enterprise, including but not limited to leading the execution of the annual deployment of the company's Corporate Strategy and 10-Year Strategic Compass and driving the creation and development of the annual GCGPA Function Strategy (30%)
- Act as a communications strategist and trusted partner to the Corporate Strategy team and its leaders while ensuring the team is delivering assets and materials on deadline
- Serve as primary project manager for annual presentation of GCGPA 3-Year Function Strategy
- Oversee pull-through and amplification of Corporate Strategy and 10-Year Strategic Compass key messages and concepts across business communications including within Transformation programming
- Together with VP and ED, Global Corporate Communications, develop and execute senior leadership announcements and organizational change comms to advance corporate positioning and priorities. (30%)
- Manage and oversee the planning and execution of high-level announcements together with Global Communications leads, HR Business Partners, Legal, Investor Relations and other key stakeholders
- Drive and support the implementation and evolution of a clear and streamlined cross-functional process around senior leadership announcements
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree
- Exceptional corporate communications executive with 8 years relevant experience, with the ability to create and execute compelling narratives across the business in alignment with our Corporate Strategy
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills, with an ability to evolve and tailor writing style to suit various projects and channels
- Strong visual storytelling skills, i.e. fluency in PPT, Keynote and other design platforms
- Utmost ability to maintain confidentiality of extremely sensitive matters
- Strong experience developing and implementing high impact communications initiatives at scale with measurable results
- Excellent executive presence with the ability to counsel business leaders and other key stakeholders strategically
- Highly organized, experienced project manager with great attention to detail, responsive and highly adept at prioritizing; resourceful and applies and open-minded, creative approach to problem solving
